Who operates this site
Süleyman Şimşek operates this software portfolio. For privacy questions and rights requests, email privacy@suleymansimsek.uk. This notice covers the portfolio website; each application has separate privacy information.
Website data and browser storage
The portfolio has no registration, contact form, advertising, analytics SDK or tracking pixels. Our own site code does not write cookies or browser storage. Images, icons and styles are served by this site. Netlify may process IP addresses and request information to deliver pages, protect its infrastructure and investigate faults. Netlify may inject its own interface script; the current Content Security Policy blocks that script. We do not use it for analytics. This does not mean that visiting the site creates no technical records.
Email enquiries
Contact links open your own email application. If you choose to send a message, your address and the information you include are handled through our email service to answer your enquiry. No website form database or marketing list is created. Do not send passwords, private keys, confidential reports, photographs or other sensitive information. Providing an email address is optional for browsing; a reply address is needed if you want an email response.
Purposes and proposed lawful bases
To answer general or technical enquiries you initiate, we propose legitimate interests in responding to your request, using only necessary contact details and message content. For necessary website delivery and security processing under our control, we propose legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure information site. For handling statutory data-protection requests, legal obligation applies where the law requires that handling; proportionate identity verification may be needed. Any retention required by a specific legal duty relies on that duty only for the necessary scope and period. These purposes are separate: a legitimate interests assessment for each relevant purpose remains subject to the site owner’s review. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to marketing. Providers may separately determine purposes and lawful bases for their own processing.
Retention and quarterly review
We review enquiry correspondence every three months to identify information no longer needed to resolve an enquiry, manage related follow-up or meet a documented legal requirement. Any deletion requires the owner’s separate decision; the review does not automatically delete messages. Earlier removal may be appropriate; a justified ongoing matter may require longer retention. Three months is a review interval, not an automatic deletion rule or a fixed retention period. The owner has adopted this procedure. Its first scheduled review is 28 January 2027; no completed quarterly review is claimed. Provider technical logs and backups follow separate arrangements. Purelymail publishes 30-day diagnostic-log retention and approximately one-month deleted-message backup retention; these are not a promise to delete ordinary correspondence after a month. This site uses static Netlify hosting. Its request-level Observability feature has a published one-day window on the Free plan; this does not establish the retention of every internal security log or backup. No Functions, Edge Functions or configured external log drain were observed for this deployment. We do not promise an unverified universal HTTP-log deletion period. Suspected spam may be identified for manual review. Support and privacy requests must not be automatically discarded.
Providers and international transfers
Netlify provides hosting and content delivery. Purelymail (Add Rabbit LLC) currently handles email sent to suleyman@suleymansimsek.uk, support@suleymansimsek.uk, hello@suleymansimsek.uk and privacy@suleymansimsek.uk. Your own email provider may also process your messages. Providers may process data outside the UK. Netlify's published DPA describes UK transfer safeguards. Purelymail replied on 28 October 2026 that it does not provide GDPR compliance assurance or a Data Processing Agreement and referred us to its Privacy Policy and Security documentation. Applicable processor obligations, processing countries, a complete subprocessor arrangement and UK transfer safeguards have not been established by the available evidence. The owner has decided to retain Purelymail temporarily and defer migration; this does not resolve the contractual gaps or establish compliance. We do not claim UK-only storage or completed transfer compliance. These unresolved matters remain identified for the final owner publication decision. You can ask privacy@suleymansimsek.uk for available information on safeguards; unavailable guarantees will not be invented. External product sites have separate privacy notices.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. The right to data portability does not apply merely because processing is based on legitimate interests; it may apply to other processing only where its legal conditions are met. Contact privacy@suleymansimsek.uk. Proportionate information may be needed to verify your identity. Rights have conditions and exceptions; immediate or unconditional deletion is not guaranteed. This site does not carry out solely automated decisions or profiling.
Complaints
You can raise a concern with us and can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. You do not have to waive that right or contact us first to exercise it.
Scheduled email assistance
Monthly organisation, business-day privacy checks and quarterly manual review are scheduled. Codex/OpenAI assistance may process necessary correspondence data; it is not wholly local. The applicable account processing and transfer terms have not been verified. This site does not claim completed compliance. No additional AI processing scope is authorised by publication. Deletion and decisions about rights remain with the owner.
